A Word from Our

President

First and foremost, I would like to say “Welcome”.
Knowledge is worth nothing without the people to share it.
This is the simple principle upon which Mahasarakham University was founded in
1968, from our most humble beginnings here in the heart of NE Thailand, where
we dare to aim high and make First Class Education accessible to every “Class”.
So simple in fact, that it still rings true today in 2017, in every language with 40,759
students and counting.
From Cambodia, to India, to China and beyond, MSU has earned its international
reputation as the premier University of Sustainable Education in ASEAN through
the sweat and hard work of students and professors alike.
This guide, however, was designed for a purpose higher than listing accolades.
From our minds to our hearts, we aim to accommodate. Welcome to MSU,
whatever your country of origin may be, we hope you will feel at home here.
