1. Mahasarakham University American Corner
Mahasarakham University American Corner (MAC), located on the 1st floor of
the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, is a one-stop center for
information about the United States and its culture.
MAC aims to foster a mutual understanding between Thailand and the United
States through a variety of means including digital video conferences,
high-speed Internet access, books, and multimedia collections; and to
stimulate dialogues with individual citizens, groups, institutions, and the media
through local information and cultural activities.
MAC student volunteers are available to assist users in finding information
about the American people, their culture, history, foreign affairs, educational
system, language, etc. through books, multimedia collections, DVD
databases, documentaries, electronic journals, online databases, cultural
events, and other materials and activities provided at the Corner.
MAC is open to the general public free of charge and is willing to welcome
outside visitors who wish to find useful information about the United States.
